My obsession with red continues

If you've followed me on Instagram for a while (or if you're new to the party, in which case, hey!) you may have noticed that over the last couple of months i have grown a perhaps unhealthy obsession with pops of red, and it would seem, this theme doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.

Pops of red a quite literally my current best friend. I've always liked to think of myself as someone with a relatively classic style, however it never hurts to add a little current trend into an outfit! Red isn't going anywhere, it's been seen on every it girl across the town, every off duty model, you name it, they've worn it.

If you're a little unsure of a trend, and you're not fully committed to delving deep, personally i would suggest that the best way to just dip your toe in would be either through a bag or shoes. Accessories are the perfect way to add a little hint of an ode to a trend, perhaps if you are less inclined to transform yourself into a walking red dressed emoji. These heels from Miss Pap hit the brief perfectly, not only are they the perfect shade of tomato red, they're also covered in the most gorgeous embroidery (hitting two trends with one stone there!) much to the ooh's and ahh's of the girls in my office.

Whilst we're on the topic of spring trends, you may also have noticed the abundance of ruffles splashed around the high street. Thanks to the likes of Alexanda McQueen and Valentino to name just a couple, the catwalks presenting the SS17 trends were splashed with frills, and luckily for us, the high street have taken note! This wrap blouse is a new favourite, it takes that office look up a level, without looking too flamenco.

Have you recently added any red into your wardrobe? Will you be trying out the ruffles trend? These trends aren't going anywhere, so i would politely suggest you jump on board with me!
