LACE UP SANDALS

 Every year when summer comes around the same few styles of footwear seem to resurface, if you want to know about the latest edition then keep reading...

Flip flops, sliders, gladiators, you name it, over the years I've tried the trend. So there's little surprise in knowing that when the 'lace up sandal' made an appearance this season that it wouldn't be long before a pair found themselves on my feet. The new and improved gladiator, the lace up sandal was seen on all of the major SS15 runway shows, with Chloe, Valentino and Stella McCartney all upping the style stakes with wraparound footwear. These Public Desire numbers are the perfect price point for those of you who want to try out the trend without breaking the bank, after-all unless you're going abroad there hasn't been much in the way of appropriate lace up sandal wearing weather here in the UK anyway!

 Channelling even more Chloe vibes, I've gone for a summery smock dress and Classic RayBan Aviators from Shade Station. RayBan's are a classic for all year round and Shade Station have some great pieces, I've got my eye on a red mirrored pair which you can find in the collection here.
