DOUBLE DENIM

 Double denim is back with a vengeance for spring, denim on denim has never been so bold, think cowboy style jackets and flares for the ultimate seventies mix up...

 That's right, your eyes are not deceiving you, I really have gone for the ultimate leap of faith, yes, I am wearing the flared jean. Now I'm the first person to admit that, when the flare first came back in fashion, I was really sceptical, in fact I vaguely remember saying the words 'I don't care how trendy they are I wont be wearing them', and yet here I am, daring to wear the flare. I have to say, the main reason you see me wearing these today is thanks to other bloggers, I'd seen them styled many different ways in magazines, but for some reason or other, to me those people never seem real. So to see some fellow bloggers rocking the flares, they definitely grew on me, and now here we are.

Double denim is also a huge trend for spring, and how lucky was I to find two pieces that are nearly identical denim! I also love mixing denims, light and dark, so look out for that In the future. I've layered up here with a rib knit and duster coat, but I'll be wearing this denim jacket over a crochet dress and tan gladiators come summer!
