THE NEW WAY TO WEAR DENIM

Denim, Denim and more Denim, that's the order for spring! Think denim shirts in deep dark colours, dresses with d ring belts and flared jeans. Miss matching your denim's across the same look and layering up. I must admit I felt a little like I should have been sauntering along the French Riviera in my white jeans, but I thought it was about time I changed from my regular denim look!

This shirt is a 'different ways to wear' dream. It's actually a denim dress that I've fully unbuttoned and worn open, but I've already also worn it closed up with thick black tights, a leather jacket and Chelsea boots. A hint of grey adds a new dimension, I'm also secretly pining over the new fifty shades of grey film, which is out this weekend! If like me you've read all the books, you'll be dying to see how they've made it suitable for actual viewing haha.

SEVENTIES REVIVAL

Anyone who's anyone will know that this spring the seventies are back with a BANG! Suede, Fringing, funky patterns and denim are the materials for you, in shapes such as mini skirts midi length dresses and flared jumpsuits. I'm not sure entirely where I sit on the whole flared trousers, give It a few weeks and I'm sure ill have fallen under the trend!

I have to admit its so refreshing to have a different colour palette being welcomed back into my wardrobe, nude colours are set to be huge this season, so I'm looking forward to that also. As for today's look, I picked up this cool printed sheer dress whilst I was in London last week, in Primark of all places! I've paired it here with yet another fringed jacket to add to my growing collection (and a bargain one at that) and some black aviator sunnies.

THE SUIT

There's nothing better than a suit. There's something about sharp tailoring, on both a man and a woman, that gives off the effortless 'I mean business' vibe all day long. The perfect replacement for a party dress, I love how you can wear a suit without the shirt, for a sassier vibe. Similarly, this could be so easily layered with a simple tee or a knitted vest, for a more daytime look. As for the shoes, lace up heels are huge this season, and these Zara beauts are the perfect from day to night heel, and are already set to sell out quick. Though they're perfect for wearing with trousers now, I'll be wearing them with a tan suede skirt come spring for that seventies chic.
