I've long been a lover of chic tailoring, there's nothing better than clean lines and sharp cuts, trouser suits and pencil dresses! But as I'm sure many of you have found, when it gets cooler it's really hard to keep that tailored look, yet still be warm. Most coats look oh so silly over a tailored trouser, it's definitely a little more school girl than chic shall we say! So when I spotted this camel beauty on Glamorous, I literally had to snap it up! There's something about the shape, that oh so slightly dressing gown vibe, that makes it somehow totally work over these seven-eights tailored trousers, don't ask we how, it just does!

I couldn't be happier with the coat (thank you lovelies at Glamorous!), camel is one of my all time favourite colours for autumn winter, in case I haven't mentioned it a million times already, and the material is almost like a really fine fur which adds a super cool texture. I'm also wearing my new favourite pointed loafers from River Island, although they aren't perfect just yet. Unfortunately they were almost all sold out online, so I thought i'd try my luck with the next size up as I sometimes find river island shoes to be a tad on the small side. Disappointingly for me, they've come up just a little too big, so I spent the day walking out of my shoes! I'm now on a mission to make them fit, so i'll be stocking up on insoles!
P.s for anyone that's interested, at the moment grazia are running a campaign with River Island that means you can get a massive 25% off all orders on womenswear! Use coat GRAZIANOV14, get shopping ladies!
