Ok so as we are now fully into October (madness right?!) I think I'm allowed to get a little bit excited about my birthday. I'll be 20 on the 25th October and I can't wait! I'm such a little kid when it comes to birthday's, I certainly wont sleep the night before and I'll be wracking my brain as to what surprises I think I could be getting. The only downside of this years birthday is that I will officially never be a teenager again. That to me is an absolutely crazy thought, I can't quite comprehend where all of these years have gone! Lets hope my twenties are as fab as everyone says they are!
Today's look is something a lil different, with a definite nod to the sixties. When I was planning this outfit, to be truthful I wasn't quite sure If I was going to like it on myself, the high neck and thigh out combination seemed to be something I wasn't particularly fond of, until now! Having seen these photos back I definitely think it's the kind of look I will wear more often, I love it. The sixties was of course about high boots and mini skirts, but also about super bold prints that had never been seen before. I am obsessed with the print on this Missguided skirt (big thanks to Robyn for sorting me out with my October wardrobe, more looks coming your way soon from that!) the monochrome 2-ways is definitely a cool and different alterative to the usual patterns.

This does make me think of the 60s, I love the alternation between black on white and white on black on the skirt :)
