Firstly just a tiny weeny apology for disappearing this week! A combination of first full week backat Uni, dark nights and terrible weather stopped my flow, but I promise I am now back in business!

Anyone who's anyone will have seen the absolutely STUNNING Burberry blanket capes that have been floating around since the AW14 show early this year. With the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Suki Waterhouse and Cara Delevigne all displaying their cosy cover ups it was only a matter of time before everyone else jumped on the band wagon! Obviously (most of us) don't have a cool £900 to spend on what is essentially a picnic blanket, so when this AMAZING topshop number came out I snapped it up straight away. I love the colour palette, all those beaut autumn tones with the pop of blue, is just perfect. I've paired it here with these knee high's, I can't wait to wear them in winter with thick black tights and a dress, but for now I'm wearing my new favourite camel skirt! I'm also totally loving this top, that was kindly sent to me from the beauties at Lily Lulu. I LOVE the slogan, it's like a great big stick your fingers up to anyone that tries to put you down or says you can't achieve what you want to!

  1. Ellie you've knocked it out of the park again... I LOVE that cape - oh, the colours!! You're right, who needs Burberry when you've got Topshop? Looks so good with the boots!
