THE IT COLOUR JUMPER

Thursday is one of my favourite days, so close to the weekend! It's also one of my quieter days at university so that's always extremely welcome. Today I just about managed to get some pictures of my outfit before it got too dark, the location is slightly more built up than I normally like but I think it works nicely. My neighbours already think I have a shopping addiction, my poor next door neighbour already takes in nearly all of my parcels, and spot me popping in and out constantly outfit changing, so at least today they got a first hand view of what I'm doing! They probably think I'm even more nuts now they've seen me having a mini photo shoot on my drive, but oh well haha! BIG hi to any of my neighbours if you're reading this!

Today's look is definitely what I'd like to call 'comfy luxe'. One of my new favourite things to do is pair a tailored item with a majorly relaxed item, I love the juxtaposition of a chunky knit and a smart trouser, plus it's majorly chilled! For those of you that follow me on Instagram you'll have seen this knit before, I literally cannot get enough of it. Once again I saw my bae and overall supermodel mega babe Kendall Jenner rocking a jumper similar to this, only I'm damn sure hers wasn't £14.99 from H&M!Not that I'm complaining, the quality is actually amazing for such a mega cheap price. And it's not only Kenny Jenny that's been seen in this style jumper, the it colour of the season 'oatmeal' is everywhere right now, in every magazine and on every fashionista on the planet, so I'd grab one while you still can!  I'm also wearing my absolute favourite heels for this season, they're just SO FLUFFY! (Insert heart eyed emoji here) I can't get enough of all things fluff, fur and feather this season, so if you see anything you think I'd like be sure to let me know!

POPPY PRINCESS

Little bit of a different outfit for you today! I'm constantly getting inspiration from all around me, be it fellow bloggers, random people on the street, window displays, but my main form of inspo definitely comes from fashion magazines. I have long been a fashion mag slave, and like nothing better than flicking through one of many glossies! One thing I will say though is that after I started blogging, I definitely read magazines in a different way than I did before. I find myself dissecting outfits and noticing the tiniest details, things I wouldn't have thought twice about before hand! Definitely just one of the many things that have changed since becoming a blogger.

Anyway the reason I'm telling you this (there is a purpose for my rambling I swear haha!) I was casually perusing through Asos magazine as you do, and I spotted something id never seen before. Now this may just be me being super behind on trends (in which case please forgive my faux pas!) but I saw a young lady looking truly AMAZING in a dress. Only it wasn't a dress, it was a kimono she'd belted to make one. HOW FAB! So in homage to that, I thought i'd give it a go, and I actually love the result! It's definitely completely different to anything I would normally wear, but as I like experimenting with fashion I think its rather fun. I also completely love the pattern, the poppy's are perfect for this time of year, and the whole feel of it is extremely autumnal. Hope you love!

JUST KEEP ROLLIN'

I'm back my lovelies!! So sorry for the lack of posts this week, I've been extremely MIA. I mixture of a full on week at uni and several birthday celebrations (I'm now 20 wahooo! more of that to come soon) meant that I had literally no time to get any outfits shot for you guys. As a part time blogger/full time uni student/part time tearoom worker I sometimes find I struggle to separate time for all things, as well as finding time to have a 'normal' life with my family and boyfriend! BUT on a positive note, I will hopefully have a lot more time for you all this week, as my photographer (mum) is on half term so will be more readily available also!

Anyway enough of the whinging hehe, onto today's look! I'm so excited that Autumn has completely set In and the nights are drawing in also. I'm definitely a winter person, the thought of a cosy night in with a onesie and the fire on is always extremely appealing to me! I'm also already super giddy for Christmas (my brother bought me Frozen on DVD for my birthday so of course I'm dying to watch that already) and I must admit dressing for the colder weather is always so much fun. I love layering, and finding new ways to wear a jumper. In this instance, I'm wearing this beautiful roll neck knit from Style Heist, I love the oversized feel to it, all of my knits will be majorly oversized this year! I've paired it here with leather leggings and pointed heeled boots. Kendall Jenner, AKA my absolute style icon, was spotted over the weekend wearing a similar combo, so of course I had to follow suit!

TEDDY TOUCHDOWN

Hi my lovelies! Hope you're all well, the weather today was UBER scary, what's with the crazy gale force winds!! Safe to say it was extremely difficult to take photographs without getting blown away, but myself and my mum powered through, so here are the results. Please forgive my less than satisfied face pulling, I was a tad traumatised! Anyway...as the days go on I am becoming more and more giddy, my birthday is this Saturday! I'm so so so excited, I'm such a child haha, but I honestly cannot wait.

Anyway on to today's American football themed outfit (well...kind of) my brothers are MAJOR American football fans, safe to say I got the 'touchdown' part of the title from them haha. I love the sports luxe style of this jumper by Nana Judy, the oversized feel makes it super cosy yet still stylish. And as for the 'teddy' part of the title, I've seen a lot of mixed opinions about this clutch bag. I saw a few references to teddy bears, and even worse I read on twitter someone had said this clutch bag looked like the person holding it (which thankfully wasn't myself) had killed sooty! So apologies to all the sooty fans, but I absolutely love it! Also just a quick mention to my new BEAUTIFUL watch. I was so excited when the lovelies at Shore projects got in touch, their style matches mine perfectly, simple and classic. I absolutely love that you can change the straps to suit your mood/outfit, and the black face makes for a nice change to my usual white Michael Kors. Look out for this beauty in future posts with a few different straps!

SO MUCH SASS

It's nearly the weekend woop! So so unbelievably excited for this weekend! My lovely boyfriend is taking me to get my (surprise) birthday present eeeek, and then I'm going for a family pre-birthday meal. I finally got hold of the gorgeous red culottes jumpsuit from Topshop, which was in the sale (best day of my life) so I'm looking forward to glamming up a bit, slicking some red lippy on and getting my party on!

So in the spirit of the near weekend, I've put together a bit more of a 'go out' kind of look. I LOVE all black for a night out, it means you can wear the most amazing statement shoe and let them do all the talking! These beautiful cobalt snakeskin numbers are from would you believe it PRIMARK!! They were an absolute find for only £16 and they honestly do look so expensive. I'm also totally loving this top from Boohoo, which also comes in a nice nudey colour (I think I need both!). Anything fluffy/furry/feathery is an absolute MUST HAVE for me this season, I'm all for mixing textures so I'm loving It here with my peplum leather skirt.
