ROSES ARE RED

 Firstly can I just apologise for how completely miserable/squinty I look on these shots. Making up the weirdest combination of weather for September, it was not only SO sunny I could barely see (should have had my sunglasses with me but of course I didn't the one day I actually need them!) but it was also ridiculously windy, I'm talking run after your hat so you don't lose it kind of wind. Alas, we still managed to get some shots somehow!

Today's look is comprised of a very exciting two piece. Having worked with Motel Rocks before, I am always 100% sure that their items are top notch, but I couldn't contain my excitement when the gorgeous Analise let me know that I would be receiving an EXCLUSIVE two-piece that wouldn't yet be available on the web! How exciting is that!! So of course I got straight down to shooting, and have paired it here with my usual fur and boot combination! I love the wintery floral pattern, it's quite difficult to find prints for autumn/winter that are still 'pretty' but I definitely think this works! LACE AND LEATHER

 Woooooo it's the weekend! I definitely have that Friday feeling, for once in my life! I normally work every Saturday, so Friday doesn't ever really feel like a good day for myself, but tomorrow I finally have a day off, so safe to say I'm doing a small victory dance right now.

Today's look is a pretty casual one, something that I would wear to go shopping or running errands. I love being able to jazz up a super plain outfit with some major silver accessories, today in the form of these MEGA zara shoes. I saw these shoes a while back on a couple of other bloggers, and absolutely loved them, but I only just managed to get my hands on them last week! I love a statement flat, being 5ft 11 I don't wear heels for an every day occasion (unless I feel like looking like the BFG that is!) so to be able to wear a super trendy, not your typical ballet flat, is always nice. I've also tried a bit of a different look today in the form of a dress over leather trousers. It's at that time of year where I feel a little silly going bare legged, but I also don't want to have to embrace the opaque tight JUST YET, so I think this is a nice replacement!

P.s I have a very exciting few days coming up, which I can't wait to tell you all about, so keep an eye out!

THE 'IT' CAPE

Hi lovelies! Hope you're all having a happy hump day. This week has been flying by, can't believe its Thursday tomorrow already! I'm looking forward to the weekend, my first Saturday off since my holiday (which I don't think counts as I wasn't In the country haha!) as I'm popping across to Manchester to AX Paris AW14 event. Excited to meet of with some of the gorge bloggers again, but also mega excited to meet some girlies I haven't met yet!

Today's look is definitely a whole lot of autumn winter, I'm finally wearing a jumper (almost, technically speaking its a knitted cape) knee high boot combination which of course I LOVE. Firstly I saw this ASOS cape quite a while back, but by the time I'd noticed it finally come available, it had all sold out! That kind of a situation is literally the bane of my life, makes me want to cry! Thankfully, Asos restocked so I got ordering asap and did a lil victory dance when I got to see its beauty in real life. I'm praying they bring out more colours, I want them all! I've paired it here with this gorgeous pinky coloured scuba skirt, which I was kindly sent from Lasula! I spotted a LOT of outfits at Somerset house rocking a skirt peaking out of a jumper kind of look, so I definitely took inspiration from that!

PRINT ON PRINT

Hey there my lovelies! After I couple of LONG days at work, I have a few days off, so hopefully there will be lots of exciting new posts coming this week! These shots were taken only this afternoon, and myself and my photographer (AKA Mum) literally just managed to get these taken before it started to pelt it down with rain, we were lucky for once! I presume that this is a sign of things to come weather wise! As this will be my first winter blogging, I'm not quite sure yet on how I will manage to take well lit photographs with such terrible lighting, so if you're a blogger that's mastered this please do let me know haha!

On to todays outfit, this absolutely BEAUT dress being the centre-piece of course. Would you believe that this dress is from PRIMARK! It's an absolute find! The drop waist makes it super flattering and the rich browny leopard print colour is so perfect for the coming season. I'll definitely be wearing it with black fluffy heels for winter parties! Also just a quick word about my amaaaaaazing new bag. I am SO in love with it, and managed to get 20% off thanks to a gift card in this months ELLE magazine (the one with J-Lo on the cover), so if you're in need of a River Island splurge be sure to grab a copy of the mag first!

CULOTTE CRAZY

So as the title of this post suggests, I am absolutely crazy for culottes right now! I apologise if you are sick of seeing them on me, but i literally cant get enough! I love how they can look super dressy or super casual depending on what else you're wearing, they're just mega versatile. Most pairs are also super affordable which is great for any fellow students like myself!

 

I was very kindly sent this two piece from the lovelies at 5 Fashion and it's so lovely, I love the monochrome edge it has, very easy to style up in a few ways! I also think it would look BEAUT styled up with some metallic heels and a fluffy clutch for night time, and obviously minus the leather jacket, but for now I think I'll stick to my trusty hat/boot combo! I'm also totally loving this perfume shaped chain bag. Statement bags are one of my favourite ways to style up an outfit and give an bit of an edge, and this clear one is super cool! I've seen these bags dotted all over Instagram so I'm really chuffed I finally have my own. It also comes in black which is tres chique!
